Welcome D.C. bus riders!

Welcome to all our new D.C. readers!

Quite a few hits on this blog are coming now from Washington D.C.

As this bus approaches its 200,000 rider, now is a good time to remind you of your rights while on this bus.

1. If you are a U.S. citizen, you don't have to prove it.

2. If you are not a U.S. citizen and you are over 18 years old, you must be prepared to show your immigration papers to federal agents.

3. Everyone has the right to remain silent. If you wish to make a comment, space is provided at the end of this post.

4. Do not talk to the driver when bus is in motion (see #3).

5. Please, remain seated while bus is in motion.

6. Use quiet voices and be on your best behavior.

7. Have a safe trip.

While we can't guarantee you'll have as good as ride as you might get riding on the buses pictured below, Welcome aboard!
